Staff Sgt. Casey Jackson, the full-time training sergeant for the 
former Fordyce unit, enters the facility for the final time prior to the move to his new home in Camden.  
Although the Fordyce unit has relocated, the Guard continues to have units based in 60 communities across 
Arkansas capable of responding in support of civil authorities anywhere in the state as necessary.  
Lt. Col. Sean Gavan ensured Mayor MacNichol, “We aren’t leaving your community.  We’re still here when 
you need us.”
